Thirty players have called time on their AFL playing careers so far this year.
Between them, this year's retirees have played a combined 5311 AFL games, kicked 2874 goals, won 21 premierships, 16 best and fairests, two Norm Smith Medals, a Coleman Medal and 18 All Australian guernseys.
Which begs the question; are they the most decorated group of players to leave the game in a single AFL season?
