British man comes up with a unique way to cool down in the heat

A man in the UK has come up with a unique way to stay cool during the heatwave, making clever use of his wheelie bin.

In a video which has been shared on TikTok we see the man sitting in a bin filled with water, sipping on a cocktail with not a care in the world.

The video has been posted by @thehalalham (watch above), who questions the man about his activities, to which he responds a tad defensively.

"What? I'm not allowed to have a cocktail in my own bin?" he asks.

"It's a celebration for normal English people like me."

And the cocktail looks delicious, poured into a martini glass complete with fruit garnish. Next to the man is a white stepladder he has used to get into the bin and a sun hat.

As filming continue the man accuses the person behind the phone of "trying to bring me down" before he challenges him "to fight about it".

It is then that the man attempts to get out of the bin to confront his neighbour, tipping himself over and putting an end to his lovely afternoon.

"Leave him he's bin going through a lot," one TikTok follower defended the man.

"He's wheely enjoying himself there," another joked.

"Way to interrupt him when he's at peace," asked another.

Others suggested ways the man could improve his experience.

"He's missed a trick there... What he should have done is prop the lid up so it makes a table for his cocktail. Too late now."

Another asked: "Why does everyone insist on fighting."

Another look the opportunity to make fun of property prices, commenting: "if this was London that bin would be advertised as a single bedroom apartment with pool. £900,000 ($1.5 million)."

"40 degrees makes people lose their minds," another said.

High temperatures are expected to continue in the UK, hitting yet another peak next week, according to local weather reports.
