'There is always another story': Tess Crosley shares cryptic social media post

Tess Crosley has returned to social media with a cryptic post, suggesting that there's always another story. 

The 30-year-old, who is at the centre of AFL star Lachie Neale's marriage breakdown, posted for the first time in weeks, sharing two images of herself on a boat. 

The pictures uploaded are the same shot of her on a boat, looking out to sea, wearing a chic headscarf and one is in black and white, while the other is in full colour. 

"There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye," she captioned the post. Comments on the post have also been turned off. 

It's the first post from Tess in almost a month, but the timing is no doubt going to raise eyebrows. 

The post comes just a week after Jules broke her silence over the split, talking about the "reset" of moving back to Perth.

It's also come a day after Lachie returned to social media, sharing some happy family snaps with the kids, after the messy split has dominated headlines.

Tess, who was once best friends with Lachie's wife Jules, has not commented publicly on their split and the drama that surrounded the end of their marriage. 

It is understood that her own marriage is over, and she has been spotted without her wedding ring for weeks now. 

The saga between Tess and the Neale's started in December, after Jules publicly claimed that she had been "betrayed" after rumours circulated that she and Lachie were working through relationship issues.

"I want to make it very clear that I am not 'working through' anything," Jules said.

"I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

"All I can do now is to to heal and do what's best for my children."

Within days of the statement, Jules added fuel to speculation about what caused the split when she commented on a now-deleted post on former friend Tess' Instagram page.

"Take these down, you idiot, you're embarrassing yourself," Neale wrote under photos that showed her former best friend celebrating Lachie Neale's Brisbane Lions AFL Grand Final last September.

The images showed Tess, her husband Ben and the Neales on the field.

Tess' knee seemed to be touching Lachie Neale, while their respective spouses stood to the other side.

The two couples were reportedly firm friends and often appeared on each other's social media accounts.

The ladies have since unfollowed each other and removed all traces of each other from their social media pages. 

There has been no confirmation anything untoward happened between Tess and Lachie.

Lachie confirmed the separation while addressing the media in early January.

"I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry," he said.

Lachie added that he had to "accept" the consequences of his actions, but was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale because the wellbeing of their children remained their biggest priority.
