Lachie Neale returns to social media with family photos after painful public split from wife Jules
AFL star Lachie Neale has returned to social media to share a string of family photos, weeks after his marriage breakdown dominated headlines.
The 32-year-old Brisbane Lions player appears to be spending some time with his kids, posting numerous rare updates on his Instagram stories.
One snap features his one-year-old son, Freddie, sitting on his father's lap with the caption "mood".

Another picture is of Freddie and his sister, four-year-old Piper, as they cuddle up to their dad in their pyjamas.
Lachie also shared another of Piper in her uniform preparing for her first day of kindergarten.
Jules later posted a similar photo of herself and Piper to her own page, captioned: "Big girl's first day of kindy."
The sweet family moments come weeks after Lachie and Jules' marriage breakdown took over headlines during the New Year.
Jules, who has relocated back to her hometown of Perth, revealed to social media that she had been "betrayed" after rumours circulated that she and Lachie were working through relationship issues.

"I want to make it very clear that I am not 'working through' anything," Jules said.
"I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
"All I can do now is to to heal and do what's best for my children."
Lachie then confirmed the separation while addressing the media in early January.
"I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry," he said.
Lachie added that he had to "accept" the consequences of his actions, but was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale because the wellbeing of their children remained their biggest priority.

Last week Jules attended the Australian Open in a chic pink look and for the first time spoke about her marriage breakdown.
"The last few months have been a lot but being back in Perth with family has really helped me reset for 2026," she told the Herald Sun.
Neale said it was the first time she'd ever attended the Australian Open and she was excited to be there.
"Honestly I'm loving being back in Melbourne and watching another sport," she added.
