'Rude': Couple's proposal foiled by selfie stick-wielding stranger
A would-be fairytale proposal has gone horribly awry, after a stranger's unexpected intervention prevented the moment being captured.
A woman with a selfie stick became and unexpected feature in the couple's video, inadvertently stepping in front of their camera in an attempt to capture the moment herself.
The woman was shown obscuring the couple as she sought to obtain the best angle of the moment with her own phone, leaving the newly-engaged pair bemused.

Although potentially well-meaning, the woman obscured the tripod set up by the groom in advance to record his soon-to-be fiancée's reaction.
The future bride in question, Taylah, shared the incriminating clip, set against the backdrop of a glimmering Eiffel tower at dusk, via Tiktok.
"When you just want a cute proposal vid, but a lady with a selfie stick has other plans," the caption read.

Commenters were quick to take Taylah's side in the unfortunate debacle, labelling the photo-bomber as "rude" and "annoying."
"Why would a random person make someone else's proposal about them?" One enquired.
Another, however, came to the defence of the woman.
"She must have not realised he was videoing and tried to capture it for you. Trying to be nice."
Upon being asked whether the bystander had given the pair the video she recorded, Taylah replied that she had, but described the video in question as a "hot mess."
While many agreed the intrusion would have ruined the moment for them, thankfully the couple was able to see the funny side.
They quickly shared a follow-up clip, which featured the bride-to-be beaming as she showed off her new ring and planted a kiss on her now-fiancé.
"Guys don't stress! We got this cute video later!" She reassured her followers.
The controversial moment spurred a wider discussion on proposal etiquette, with many followers in agreement that bystanders should remain mindful of couples trying to capture the moment.
"If you see someone proposing LOOK FOR A RECORDING DEVICE!" one advised.
