They then notice the note pinned to the dress, which reads, "Smells been sprayed with Febreeze [sic]."
Febreze is a spray used to remove odours from fabrics.
The note was pinned to the dress in the Tesco store. TikTok
The source of the note isn't known but it could be that the dress had been worn and then returned, with the customer using Febreze in an attempt to return it to its original state.
Or it could be that the clothing at the store is sprayed with something similar to Febreze, although why that dress in particular would have the note pinned to it is a mystery.
Billie shared the video of her discovery on TikTok with tens of thousands of people watching it.
She and her sister were amused by the note and curious as to it's origin. TikTok
"Nothing a bit of Febreeze can't help," writes one TikTok follower.
Billie replies, "But why the label?"
"Somebody probably returned it and they had to air it out and accidentally left the tag on," someone suggests.
Many speculated the note had been pinned to the dress by an employee at the store. TikTok
"It'll be a return and they've put a note on to say they think it's been worn, but it's been put back out by accident," says another.
Billie says at this point in the conversation it "gave me a laugh either way".
