Sarah Ferguson shares rare video with grandchildren

Sarah Ferguson has shared a sweet video showing her taking her grandchildren to a Christmas carnival.

The 65-year-old royal has posted the video on TikTok this week.

"I'm at Winter Park Illuminated, and I'm with my grandchildren & my daughter having the best day, Saturday afternoon in the dark," Fergie tells her 33,200 followers.

In the footage, we see the Duchess of York walking at night with two of her grandchildren, all three rugged up to protect them from the cold.

It is thought she was out with her younger daughter Princess Eugenie and her children August and Ernest.

The next scene in the video shows the proud grandmother on a carousel.

"I'm on a giant rooster! Yay!" she exclaims.

Her followers commented on how much Ferguson is clearly enjoying her time as a grandmother.

"Best Granny ever," one said.

"Glad you had a lovely time with your family," another said.

"What a fun way to spend the afternoon," one TikToker commented.

"Bless you Sarah, lovely to see you having a wonderful time with your family," another said.

Ferguson has been blessed with four grandchildren and step grandchildren, Princess Beatrice's stepson Wolfie, eight, and daughter Sienna, three, and Princess Eugenie's sons August, three and Ernest, one.

After becoming a grandmother the royal changed her Instagram description to read "Mum, Granny, Bestselling Author, Creative." She is the author of both children's books and novels.

Ferguson recently told HELLO! she plans to shower her grandchildren with gifts this Christmas.

"Grannies exist to spoil their grandchildren, don't they? I'll be stuffing their stockings with sweets, toys and treats. I think I'm as excited as they are," she told the publication.

In a recent Instagram post the royal shared a series of photos with Princess Beatrice and Sienna to share the news that Beatrice is expecting another child.

"A very proud GiGi/Mum today. Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart," she wrote.

"Wolfie, August, Ernie and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside!"

Beatrice is reportedly due in March of 2025.

Ferguson recently visited Australia to promote her latest release A Woman of Intrigue.

During the trip, which included Sydney and Perth, the Duchess of York shared her support for an initiative called The Greater Good, producing eco-friendly nappies aimed at helping to reduce the impact of plastic waste on the environment.

"Having been no stranger to nappy time over the years, I began to wonder: what are these nappies made of and where are they going?" the duchess said on Instagram.

"Researching it, I was stunned: they are full of plastic waste, and according to the UN, are now one of the largest contributors to the plastic waste crisis globally.

"So when my grandchildren arrived, I tried to find plastic-free nappies that were 100% compostable but it just wasn't possible."
