Fergie flooded with TV offers amid exile, but has learned her lesson from Andrew

Sarah Ferguson has reportedly learned her lesson from her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's past actions.

The former Duchess of York has reportedly been fielded with several offers to share her side of the story amid her exile from the royal family, but she is refusing.

The 66-year-old is continuing to stay low, with many senior royals and perhaps even her own daughters not knowing her exact location.

A source told The Sun, "She has had a lot of offers including from Newsnight but is spending her time reflecting and has no intention of speaking out."

Newsnight is the BBC program that platformed the former Prince Andrew when his links to the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein were first revealed. The disastrous interview led to the 66-year-old being shunned from royal life.

This is quite a reversal for Fergie, who has been known to be very open about her experiences as a royal.

She has written many autobiographies including My Story and Finding Sarah: A Duchess's Journey to Find Herself and made television appearances sharing the inside life of a royal.

But after many years and many scandals, it seems Sarah has learned to lay low.

The former royal was recently spotted for the first time in seven months, popping up at a secluded hideaway in the Austrian Alps.

Per photos released by The Sun, Ferguson was seen standing next to a dark van at the remote location, attempting to conceal her distinctive red hair with a cap.

"Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps," a source told the publication.

"The area is absolutely beautiful and it's very quiet most of the time, so it's the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on."

Fergie, who was stripped of her titles along with former Prince Andrew, was last seen at the christening of her daughter, Princess Beatrice's second baby in December, but has not attended any public events since September.

The former Duchess of York has since opted to keep a low profile, after her close ties with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein were exposed.
