The 45-year-old revealed the person who had helped her adjust to her new royal life was the “open-hearted” Princess of Wales.
“I can look to Catherine for advice and guidance,” Harriet told Hello! magazine.
“She’s very open-hearted, and I would always feel comfortable asking her if I needed advice about something.”
Harriet said her first meeting with Prince William and Catherine was while everyone was on holidays together with their kids.

Harriet’s daughter Georgina, 14, from a previous relationship, was there with Peter’s kids Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, from his first marriage to Autumn Kelly.
The trio were playing with the three Wales children and Peter’s sister Zara Tindall’s three kids, making for a relaxed family gathering for their first meeting.
“I’ve had an incredible experience being welcomed in,” Harriet Phillips told the publication of joining the royal fold with her daughter.

“We happened to be on holiday in the same place. It was great because the children were all jumping into the water at the same time. It was very casual but there is a clear level of respect there.”

By contrast, her first meeting with King Charles and Queen Camilla was a little more formal and came at Royal Ascot in 2024, a few months after they started dating.
It was tea with Princess Anne at her home on the Gatcombe Park Estate, where Harriet and Peter now live in a private cottage.
The Tindalls are also on the estate, at Aston Farm.
