Princess Beatrice‘s husband has shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife months after the couple’s rep dismissed talk of a ‘strained’ marriage as “complete nonsense”.

On Sunday, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared a series of photos of the couple on Instagram to mark Beatrice’s 38th birthday, hailing her “phenomenal” in the caption.

“Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world 🌎. Love E,W,S,A xxxx 🩷🩷🩷 8.8.88,” the property developer and interior designer, 42, wrote.

The three initials following his own in the sign-off represent ‘Wolfie’ – full name Christopher Woolf – who is Mozzi’s son from a previous relationship, and Sienna and Athena, the daughters Beatrice and her husband have welcomed since their 2020 wedding.

The Instagram post came a day after Mozzi made rare remarks about his family life in a new interview.

When asked to describe his “perfect holiday,” he told Gentleman’s Journal, “Getting off the beaten track, disconnecting from emails and news and spending time with my family.”

He also said time spent with his family was both his biggest luxury and his ideal way to relax.

In March, Beatrice and Mozzi’s spokesperson hosed down headlines speculating the couple’s marriage was under strain due to the scandal involving the princess’ parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson.

The royal had maintained a low profile following the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, which saw her name mentioned several times alongside that of her younger sister Princess Eugenie.

Mountbatten-Windsor and Ferguson’s past relationship with the convicted sex offender led to King Charles stripping them of their Duke and Duchess of York titles in October 2025.

For several weeks, rumours had swirled that Beatrice’s marriage had been under pressure because of the headlines, and Mozzi had been spending more time overseas for his property development business, Banda, at the time.

The Mail on Sunday reported there was a “distance” between the couple.

“Things haven’t been great for a while between them, but Beatrice has been determined to soldier on and forge a path through,” the publication claimed.

However, the rumours were dismissed as “complete nonsense” by a source close to the couple, speaking to People magazine.

Regardless, the past year has been an undoubtedly challenging time for Beatrice and Eugenie, who’ve been caught in the fallout from their parents’ friendship with Epstein.

The sisters, usually a mainstay at royal events, have skipped several public appearances with the rest of the family, including the Easter Sunday service, Royal Ascot and Trooping the Colour.

However, they attended cousin Peter Phillips’ wedding alongside royals including the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales and Zara and Mike Tindall.
