Why Prince Harry won't back out of his Netflix deal over The Crown controversy
The latest series of The Crown has caused a stir and many controversies along the way for its depiction of the British Royal Family during the 1980s.
Since the fourth season dropped on Netflix last month, there have been calls for Prince Harry to pull out of his deal with the streaming giant.
However, royal commentator Katie Nicholl tells 9Honey that is "absolutely not going to happen".

"I can tell you that they're not pulling out of any deal with Netflix," Nicholl says.
"That's absolutely not going to happen. This is a multi-million-pound deal that they're thrilled at having pulled off."

The biographer admits there could be some awkwardness for the Prince working with the company who has rehashed his parents' marriage for entertainment, but Nicholl says "all of the negative connotations" will be "quickly extinguished with the excitement he feels around his and Meghan's future work with the network".

"There's no suggestion of him pulling out — the ink is dry on the contract, the deal is done."
Adding: "They're already half-way down the road on two documentaries."
While Nicholl doesn't believe Harry sticking to his done-deal will ruffle feathers within the royal family, she says the content of their projects might.

"There was concern over the Netflix deal from the very beginning, even pre-dating this latest series of The Crown — that it was a commercial deal, that they would be expected to not just make feel-good programming but that they might be expected to lift the lid on their own lives to some degree," Nicholl tells 9Honey.
"There is on-going comment and speculation that they are going to be making a program or documentary about their departure from the royal family."
If that's the case, Nicholl says it will "probably makes things a little stickier for Harry and Meghan" with the royal family.
