Meghan included Archie and Lili in her 40th birthday video through her jewellery
Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor mightn't have appeared in their mum's 40th birthday video, but Meghan was sure to include a subtle nod to them.
The Duchess of Sussex released the video on August 4, announcing the launch of her 40x40 mentorship initiative with the help of guest star Melissa McCarthy.

The clip was jam-packed with fun details, from beagle Guy relaxing near Meghan's feet, glimpses of family photos and Prince Harry juggling by the window.
Although the Sussexes' two children didn't wander into frame BBC Dad-style, they were represented in the necklaces worn by Meghan.
The two delicate gold chains, designed by Logan Hollowell, featured the constellations for Taurus and Gemini, Archie and Lili's star signs.

Though this is the first time we've seen these particular necklaces, Meghan has worn jewellery symbolising her loved ones' zodiac signs before.
For appearances in 2019 and 2020, she has worn gold necklaces with pendants bearing Harry and Archie's star signs, designed by Canadian brand Suetables.

Clearly a fan of sentimental jewellery, Meghan has also been seen in necklaces bearing her son and husband's first initials.

This includes the two 'dog tag'-style pendants she wore to the US Open in 2019, which featured the letters A and H and small stones.
Months earlier, she was seen wearing a delicate gold chain adorned with a tiny 'A' charm at Wimbledon, not long after Archie's birth.
This one had an Aussie connection, having been created by Sydney-based jeweller Verse Fine Jewellery.

The duchess teamed the latest additions to her collection of sentimental jewellery with a white dress and a longline cream-coloured cardigan.
Meghan's birthday video has also given fans another peek inside the Montecito, California home she and Harry bought in 2020 following their royal exit.

It would appear the former actress is fond of neutral-hued decor, from her white flowers and crystal to her beige seat covers, and indoor plants.

Evidently, Meghan also isn't above using a stack of books as a laptop stand — the ultimate work-from-home hallmark.
For her birthday, the duchess has asked 40 "friends, activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders" to dedicate 40 minutes to mentoring women re-entering the workforce post-pandemic.
"I believe mentorship is one way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength," she tells viewers.
