The Duchess of Sussex is continuing her habit of wearing jewellery with a personal, sentimental touch since returning to Canada from the UK.

On numerous occasions now, the Duchess of Sussex has worn necklaces that allude to her husband Prince Harry and son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

The tributes are often so subtle, they go unnoticed by fans until close-up photographs are released.

Meghan's latest trinket tribute came on Tuesday when she visited a women's centre in Vancouver, where she's been staying amid the royal drama unfolding back in the UK.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed she wore a pendant bearing Harry's star sign, Virgo.

It was perhaps her way of keeping her husband close to her heart until he leaves the UK for Vancouver.

Meghan previously worn the zodiac necklace, designed by Suetables, to a surprise outing in Windsor in November.

Attending a morning coffee event with families of army personnel at Broom Farm Community Centre, the royal mum paired her Harry zodiac necklace with one representing Archie's star sign, Taurus.

Clearly thrilled by seeing the Duchess wearing their designs, the Canadian jewellery brand shared more details of the pendants on their Instagram.

"The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, wearing our 'Shirley Zodiac' to represent Prince Harry and a 'Vanessa Coin Zodiac' to celebrate baby Archie," they wrote.

"We are thrilled she chose to keep her loved ones close to her heart by wearing @suetables."

As far as we're aware, this is the third time the Duchess has kept her two leading men close to her chest with personalised necklaces.

When she cheered on friend Serena Williams at the US Open in September, Meghan wore two 'dog tag'-style pendants bearing the initials A and H and small stones.

The design was the 14k Gold Birthstone Accented Letter Dog-tag Pendant from Mini Mini Jewels.

Two months earlier, Meghan was spotted wearing a delicate gold chain with a tiny 'A' charm while in the crowd at Wimbledon (again supporting Williams).

In an exciting development for Aussie royal fans, it emerged the 'Love Letter' pendant was created by Sydney-based jeweller Verse Fine Jewellery.

Even before her son was born, Meghan used jewellery to communicate her excitement about becoming a mum.

During her trip to New York for her baby shower in February, the former actress was photographed wearing a gold necklace bearing the word 'Mummy'.

Jennifer Meyer, the LA-based designer behind the necklace, confirmed to Today that it was a baby shower gift to the Duchess from one of her friends.

The first personalised necklace of Meghan's to make headlines came long before she was a member of the royal family.

In December 2016, weeks after her relationship with Prince Harry became public knowledge, photos emerged of the Suits star wearing a chain with two initial charms.

As you've probably already guessed, they were the letters H and M.
