'Full of love': Pat and Becky Cummins welcome new baby girl Edi

Pat and Becky Cummins have welcomed a new baby girl.

Sharing a picture from the hospital of the mother embracing her newborn, Becky wrote on Instagram, "She's here. Our beautiful baby girl, Edi

"Words can't describe how overjoyed & full of love we feel right now."

Fans flooded the comments with congratulatory messages.

"Congratulations Pat & Becky on the newest addition to your family. She's adorable," said one.

"She'll be a proud daughter and make you a proud father one day," said another.

The couple already share a son named Albert, affectionately known as Albie, born in 2021.

The couple first shared the news of their pregnancy six months ago.

Alongside a casual family photoshoot taken at a park, the couple shared, "We are so happy to finally share our 👶🏼 news!" the couple writes. "We are so excited to meet you baby, and to add a little more craziness to our lives 😆."

Pat was 20 when he met then 22-year-old Becky at a bar at Kings Cross.

After striking up conversation, the two went to McDonald's.

Being over from the UK on a visa, Becky wasn't aware of the cricketer's sporting status.

"The first couple of times I met Becky, I told her I was a uni student because, technically, I was. I left out the cricket part," Pat told The Age

"Then one day, a few weeks after we started dating, she walked past a KFC in the city, and on the front was me wearing a bucket hat."

"She reckons she did a double take and was like, 'Hang on, that's Pat'," he recalled.

The couple has been together since 2013 and were engaged in 2020.

The pandemic delayed their wedding plans. Albert was born in October 2021 and the couple tied the knot in July 2022 in Byron Bay.
