Just imagine: all those last-minute Book Week costumes and fashion dilemmas, solved in an hour with the tap of a finger.

The first phase of the partnership is launching through 20 selected Target stores in high-demand areas, and it will be expanded to additional stores next year.

The products available through the app will be the same price as in-store, with Uber Eats service and delivery fees also applying.

According to a release, the service is designed with immediate and last-minute shopping needs in mind. Bernard Wilson, Chief Customer Officer Kmart and Target, said customers are “looking for more ease and flexibility than ever before”.

“Our focus is on building an online offer that works around them, whether they’re planning ahead or need something quickly,” he added.

The homewares retailer launched more than 30,000 items through the delivery app, including lawn powers, power washers, pet food, gardening equipment, DIY products, nuts, bolts and packing boxes.

In 2026, Uber Eats has also teamed up with Hungry Jack’s and Guzman y Gomez, which joined the platform after leaving competitor DoorDash.
