Beloved Aussie food chain Hungry Jacks joins Uber Eats in exclusive partnership
Hungry Jacks has signed an exclusive multi-year partnership with food delivery platform Uber Eats.
This will see the fast food giant leave DoorDash, making Uber Eats its sole third-party delivery partner in Australia from May 21.
The companies said in a joint statement the partnership will build "on a long-standing relationship between Hungry Jack's and Uber Eats".

"The partnership is designed to support the next phase of Hungry Jack's delivery growth, while delivering greater convenience, value and reliability for customers nationwide," the statement read.
"As part of the partnership, Uber will also power Hungry Jack's owned delivery channel, reflecting a shared commitment to customer experience, operational excellence and long-term growth."
Uber Eats delivers to more than 90 per cent of the Australian population across over 120 cities and towns nationwide, making it the largest food delivery app in the country with a reported 50-55 per cent market share.
Next is DoorDash with a reported 30-35 per cent share. MenuLog ceased operations in Australia in November 2025.

Hungry Jack's CEO Chris Green said: "Delivery has become an increasingly important part of how our customers engage with Hungry Jack's.
"Expanding our partnership with Uber Eats allows us to reach customers with the convenience, value and quality they expect from our strong Australian brand.
"This agreement supports our long-term focus on making Hungry Jack's more accessible to customers wherever and whenever they choose to order."
Hungry Jacks operates more than 450 restaurants across the country, including new locations set to open at Traralgon, VIC, and two locations in Qld at Jindalee DFO and Wynnum Plaza. It's first restaurant opened in Innaloo, Perth, in 1971.
Hungry Jacks is also opening a new location in Martin Place, Sydney on Monday. This new store is a new design with more seats and is semi-underground.
Uber Eats and DoorDash have announced several exclusive partnerships over the past 12 months as competition between the two heats up.

Uber Eats has exclusive partnerships with Hungry Jacks, Guzman y Gomez as of February 22, 2026, Scnhiz from May 11, 2026, and Coles. Woolworths, Aldi, and Costco, are exclusive to DoorDash.
Retailers available on both platforms include McDonald's, KFC, Red Rooster, and IGA.
