Shopper puts $49 viral beach shade to the test in 40-degree heat with 'perfect' results
Summer is well and truly here with parts of the country already making the most of the hot weather and local beaches.
But as the sun shines down on us, it's hard to stay at a comfortable temperature while sitting on the beach.
Unlike Europe, Australian beaches don't have chairs and umbrellas already at the beach, so we have to supply our own shade.

One product from Kmart does just that, and its adorable and spacious design is making the item go viral on social media.
The $49 pop-up beach shelter in natural stripe is going viral on social media with multiple TikTok users showing how the shade looks on the sand.
In a video Esraa shared her own experience with the shade, revealing she also bought lounge chairs from Sunnylife Australia for $169.99 each and finished the setup with an esky-table combo.
The setup was described as the "perfect" way to spend a day at the beach.

"Tried the viral Kmart beach shade so you don't have to — and wow, it works in 40 degrees," she captioned the video.
The pop-up beach shelter features a pale yellow stripe design and a frill edge to frame the tent's opening.
It's big enough for two people to fit inside comfortably at 98cm high, 216cm wide and 118cm deep.

"This set-up is the DREAM," one user wrote.
"That's awesome omg," another said.
There were questions, however, about how easy the tent would be to fold back up, as it's pop-up shades in general are notoriously difficult to "wrangle" back into the bag.
