Monaco's royals return to glamourous best for this year's Christmas card
Monaco's royals have shared their Christmas card for 2025, showing the family at its glamorous best.
Pictured are Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene and their two children, twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who are seated in front of a Christmas tree inside the Prince's Palace.
The photo is a return to the elegance the Princely family is known for after last year's break from tradition when they were dressed in casual clothes.

The formal attire has been a feature of Monaco's royal Christmas cards over the years, with the photos often described as being the most glamorous of all of the festive photos shared by royal families across Europe.
"The Princely Family is pleased to share their greeting card with you," the palace said when sharing their card on December 8.
"Wishing all Monegasques the warmest and happiest Christmas season."
This year, Princess Charlene chose a $5.5k knit dress by Ralph Lauren, while Princess Gabrielle was dressed in a pink frock.

Prince Albert and Prince Jacques wore co-ordinating navy blue jackets.
Ribbons and baubles in navy and shades of brown decorated the Christmas tree and fireplace mantle behind the family, who were sat on a navy-coloured lounge.
Also pictured with the family was their eight-year-old rescue chihuahua, Harley.

In November, Princess Charlene took Harley to an event – the Rokethon – which raises awareness for animal welfare.
Princess Charlene is president of the Monaco SPA (Monaco Société Protectrice des Animaux, also known as the animal protection society).
The Princely family has four dogs: three Chihuahuas and a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
Last year, the family chose an understated look for their Christmas portrait, wearing co-ordinated shades of browns and creams.
Princess Charlene was dressed in a pair of brown pants with a brown jumper, her son wearing a similar outfit, while Prince Albert and Princess Gabriella went with cream.
At the weekend, the family officially opened Monaco's Christmas Village at the Port of Monaco.
The festive display was described by the palace as "a must visit to celebrate the magic of Christmas in Monaco".
Tomorrow (December 10) Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella will celebrate their 11th birthdays.
The young royals are likely to be having a party inside the Prince's Palace, as they have done in previous years, with past themes including the Smurfs and superheroes.

Monaco's royal family has expanded in recent months with the birth of Bianca Caroline Marta, who is the first daughter for Pierre Casiraghi and his wife Beatrice Borromeo.
The baby girl was born on October 4 and she joins the couple's two sons, Stefano and Francesco.
Beatrice was seen for the first time in public when she joined Monaco's royal family for National Day at the palace.
The celebrations are held each year on November 19 and include a balcony appearance, mass at Monaco's Cathedral and a gala banquet.
