Kmart shares a sneak peek at the new homewares in its August living range for 2025
Kmart has given shoppers a glimpse at what to expect from its highly-anticipated August living range for 2025 with the release of first-look images.
The launch of the collection has become an annual event for Kmart fans as it's always the biggest homewares and furniture release from the retailer each year.
For 2025 we're promised even more stylish, functional and budget-friendly pieces, including expanded furniture and cleaning ranges.

The range has plenty of personality to add to your home. Kmart
"We know our customers are always looking for affordable ways to refresh their homes. This collection is all about empowering people to create spaces that reflect their personality – whether that's through colour, form, or layering different textures," Meryn Serong, Kmart's merchandise director, says.
"Every piece is designed with versatility in mind, so it's easy to mix, match, and make it your own. Whether you're adding a bold focal point or a subtle accent, the range encourages a fun, personal approach to styling – empowering everyone to create a space that truly reflects who they are."
The new product ranged was created by Kmart's in-house buying and design team in Melbourne.
With a focus on a fresh and accessible take on contemporary home styling the August living range for 2025 is about "self-expression, playfulness and personality".
You'll see pops of colour, interesting textures and sculptural forms among the new pieces.
While there is a lot of colour in the range, there are plenty of neutrals too with natural finishes and timber.

First-look images from Kmart show a dining table styled with a green tablerunner, placemat and napkin along with the $29 the rim-embossed dinnerware set and the $20 16-piece sage striped cutlery set.

Green is huge in the new range. Kmart
Another image highlights the striped dinnerware in pink and green, which is $29 a set, and the beautiful floral bowls, which are $8 for the two-piece yellow and pink bowl set and $18 for the large blue bowl.
These are styled alongside the $14 six-piece green ornate tumblers and the $14 six-piece highball tumblers and on top of the $10 floral printed tablecloth.

A third first-look image showcases the stunning pink and red quilt set on a bed next to a lilac bedside table with quirky curved legs and the $19 Nico rechargeable lamp for $19.
In the fourth image there is a new armchair, side tables, lamp mirror and hallway table. The image highlights how easy it is to pair neutral pieces with pops of colour for a corodinated yet balanced and calming look.

Two items from the new furniture range have dropped early and already proved a hit with shoppers.
One of them is an expanding chair in green corduroy and cream fur for $85. The expanding nature of the product means the chair is easy to transport home and set up.
The second is the Como chenille lounge chair for $169, which comes in a green colour and is so versatile people have been buying multiples to create a sofa-like piece.

Rochelle Hill posted several TikToks about the new chair after purchasing two and shoppers were ready to run to Kmart to get buy the chairs for themselves.
"Girl they are sooooo cute!!" one said.
"I have to find these!!" a woman commented.
"I need these and I don't even have anywhere to put these," a shopper posted.
"Love these chairs they are on my list," another said.
The August living range launches in store and online July 24.
