'Game-changing' $3 Coles buy transforms cloudy shower screen in 'no time at all'
A soap scum covered shower glass screen is now crystal clear again after a quick and easy cleaning hack using a Coles buy.
The before-and-after transformation was posted in the Facebook group Cleaning & Organising Inspiration Australia.
In the post, a woman revealed she used a Chux Magic Eraser to get her shower glass sparkling again.

"What a game changer. I cleaned my shower screen today. No chemicals. Just Water and Eraser. What a difference. NO time at all. Amazing," she captioned the photos.
The Chux Magic Eraser is on special at Coles for $3 for an eight-pack of mini blocks. It is also on sale at Woolworths for $2.30 and $2.07 at Amazon (all prices correct at the time of publishing).
Given cloudy shower screens are one of the most common and frustrating cleaning problems people have, the recommendation was a hit with members of the Facebook group.
"WOW after battling mine with everything thrown @ it I will have to try this….looks fantastic," a woman said.
"They are great you can also buy from the cheaper stores & they work well no need to put in washing machine. I just rinse mine out with dish washing liquid," commented one.
"I use these for my shower screens and have no water marks!" another said.

To make things easier one member of the Facebook group shared that Chux makes a holder for the Magic Erasers so you can hold it via the handle for easier cleaning.
Magic Erasers are made from a melamine foam and can be used for all sorts of cleaning needs.
The foam sponges have been known to clean white shoes, get marks and scuffs off walls, remove rust stains and tea and coffee stains from inside mugs and tea cups.

If you don't have a Magic Eraser on hand or prefer to try a different cleaning hack there are plenty of other options for removing soap scum and hard water stains from shower glass.
One of the most popular and cost-effective is using vinegar and either a microfibre cloth or a non-scratch scourer.

All you need to do for this is combine one part water to one part vinegar in a spray bottle and spray on the shower glass and then scrub off.
You can also use dishwashing liquid to clean shower screens either on its own or mixed in with the vinegar and water.
Then to prevent shower screens getting cloudy, try using a squeegee to remove water from your shower glass after each and every shower.
