Four soldiers from Prince Harry's former unit and upcoming Royal Wedding regiment caught taking drugs

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding just two months away, security is being bolstered in Windsor, especially in light of a 'racist threat' to the couple and white powder scare intercepted last month.

However, the regiment in charge of guarding the Royal Wedding, the Household Cavalry - Prince Harry's former unit, the Blues and Royals, is a part of the regiment - has been caught up in a drug scandal.

Four troopers were kicked out from Windsor pub King and Castle, just metres away from where Meghan and Harry will wed in May, after being 'caught snorting cocaine' in the men's toilets.

It's been reported that now, ahead of the wedding, the 300 strong Household Cavalry could all be forced to undergo drug tests with senior officials keen to clean up the base before the wedding.

There are also reports top brass are considering having sniffer dogs do a drugs sweep around the Combermere Barracks, a source has told The Sun.

"This has been a long time coming — drug-taking is absolutely rife at Combermere and we need to clean up our act before Harry’s wedding," they revealed, adding that the terrible timing makes a crackdown warranted.
