Uber Eats has officially hit one billion deliveries across Australia

The food delivery app has now revealed Aussies' most popular food choices in its 2025 Uber Eats Cravings Report

One of the more unusual orders was a customer who wanted 70 bananas in one go.

Meanwhile, a "super-user" clocked up 2,300 deliveries in a single year including 400 cappuccinos.

Matcha and zero-sugar drink orders also proved popular, as did nuggets and burgers, the most popular meal combo of the year.

Matcha orders increased by 217 per cent in two years, with NSW placing the most.

There was also a spike in acai bowl orders, which have doubled over the past two years.

Aussies' love of coffee continues, but flat whites have fallen out of favour of late.

Instead, cappuccinos ruled in NSW, ACT and WA. Lattes took out SA, Victoria and Tasmania. And iced lattes were the coffee drink of choice in Queensland and NT.

Hot chips are our unofficial national dish – at least they are in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and WA.

In NSW and the ACT, Pad Thai reigned supreme.

Those in SA and NT loved their garlic bread and naan.

Salt has been the number one add on ordered via the food delivery app, being requested on more than 13 million orders.

When it came to desserts, ice-cream and chocolate was the favourite in NSW, ACT and Tasmania, while choc-chip dough ice-cream was the most popular flavour in Queensland and WA.

VIC went classic with vanilla, and SA opted for cookies and cream.

On Mother's Day and Father's Day, nuggets were the most popular order that was placed.

DoorDash this week revealed their top grocery orders that have been placed via the food delivery app, with fruit and vegetables, bread and milk topping the list.

The most popular fruits included bananas, strawberries, apples and mandarins while the most common vegetable orders included cucumbers and potatoes.

Packet chips were the most popular salty snack of choice. Also on people's grocery delivery lists were roast chickens, water, coke, toilet paper and eggs.

The most popular grocery order times have been Sunday afternoons and Wednesdays after work.

Ice-cream deliveries have increased by 30 per cent since July.
