Nectro turned eating in his car into a lucrative - and delicious - career
You'd think Nectorious Papi's car would be a mess of crumbs and food wrappers.
Instead, it is meticulous, neat and tidy, with not a food scrap in sight, which is surprising given he has built his food blogger career on trying new foods in his car.
Seeing him bite into a new flavour of the latest supermarket mud cake flavour leaves many of his followers wondering why they bother to cut it into slices in the first places.

His way of tasting food looks like way more fun, and it's his clear love of food, honest product reviews, and the casual feel he achieves by filming in his car during breaks from work that has made him one of Australia's most popular food bloggers, sharing his thoughts on sweet and savoury products alike.
Nectorious Papi, whose real name is Nectro Vlangos, has been in the business for four years and boasts almost a quarter of a million followers on Instagram and TikTok combined.
One of his most recent videos, a review of Coles' hot cross bun flavours, has clocked up four million views.
The Melbourne local launched his Nectorious Papi social media channels during lockdown.

"I'd seen a lot of my friends starting pages, whether it was documenting their weight loss journeys or assisting people with their eating," he told nine.com.au.
At the time, Vlangos was working at a bank, but he was also "heavily into health and fitness" – and still is, despite the content of his videos.
Some of Vlangos' most popular posts have included sweet treats like supermarket mud cakes, confectionary, and chocolate blocks.
"So I started out more about low-calorie foods and protein recipes and foods I would eat myself. Then that was getting a bit boring, because I felt like the market was oversaturated with that," he recalls.
"I've always been a sucker for marketing, like when you see a new product at Coles or Woolies, I'd always gravitate towards them."
He had a lot of opinions on things, and began sharing them on social media in 2022 under the moniker Nectorious Papi, a combination of his name and a nod to two music stars – late rapper Notorious B.I.G and Drake, whose alter ego is Champagne Papi.
Vlangos started to gain traction, and soon he was being contacted by companies keen for him to review their products.
Today, Vlangos still works at the bank, but he has one of the coolest side hustles of all time – one that is fun and lucrative.

Vlangos' social media posts are a combination of reviewing products he is curious about and "campaigns", with companies keen for their products to make it into one of his videos.
He is careful to distinguish his organic posts and those that are the result of a campaign. If he really doesn't like a product, he simply doesn't cover it, either organically or via a campaign.
It's important to Vlangos that his followers know he is honest.
A recent example is his joint post with fellow food influencer Nick Vavitiss, in which they admitted they were disappointed by Cadbury's Biscoff collaboration.

Vlangos pointed out that Cadbury's Biscoff collaboration is a "long-term collaboration" so he is looking forward to future releases, that he's sure will hit the spot.
He also cohosts a podcast called The Food Guys Podcast with food influencer Dub Eats Everything.
Personally, Vlangos prefers savoury foods, but it's the sweet treats videos that get the best numbers.
Most recently, he has reviewed the new McDonald's Friends Meal, tried the 'two-ingredient Japanese cheesecake' trend, announced the new Maxibon Choc Chip Cookie release, reviewed hot cross buns at Coles and Woolworths, tried the new Hot Honey BBQ Chicken and Smokey BBQ Chicken pizza at Domino's, and ranked 13 of Aldi's Choceur chocolate blocks from "elite to worst".

"Didn't bother with dark chocolate as I'm not a fan," he captioned the Aldi Choceur chocolate block video.
For the record, his ranking from elite to worst is: Salted Pretzel, Peanut Butter, Caramel, Crunchy Salted Caramel, Golden Caramel, Milk Coconut, White, Milk, Milk Hazelnut, Fruit & Nut (which he mostly eats at his mum's, because that's all she usually has), and Milk Almond.
Vlangos loved all of these, in that order, but wasn't a fan of the Coffee & Cream or the Rum, Raisin & Nut.
One of his favourite product releases so far in 2026 has been the Milky Bar Nesquik Strawberry chocolate block.

"That is just delicious," he said.
He also loves the Woolworths Cinnabon hot cross buns, which are back for a second year.
"If I can't post anything positive about a product, I won't post it," Vlangos said.
He always tries a product before signing on the dotted line for a collaboration, and as he isn't a fan of mint or feta, he's unlikely to review products including these flavours.
