McDonald's Australia announces new limited edition Elf on a Shelf Happy Meal toys for Christmas 2024

McDonald's Australia has announced an exciting new range of festive Happy Meal toys for Christmas and it is so perfect we can't help but wonder why this collaboration has taken so long.

The fast food giant has announced 10 Elf on the Shelf Santaverse plush toy characters and two The Elf on the Shelf books to collect with the purchase of a Happy Meal.

Families and collectors can take part in a Scout Elf hunt across McDonald's Australia restaurants.

Customers can head into their local store and find the elf with the QR code, scan to enter the draw and win exclusive Elf on the Shelf prizes, with entries opening on November 20.

"For the first time ever in Australia, the cult Christmas tradition of The Elf on the Shelf, that has captured the hearts of families around the world, will be flying into Macca's for the holiday season," Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald's Australia, said.

"Christmas is such a joyous time for both kids and adults alike. We know that the tradition of The Elf on the Shelf brings thousands of families together every year, and our series of playful and lovable elves with their adorable friends from Santa's North Pole are sure to deliver holiday fun and Macca's feel-good moments and memories to everyone," she continued.

"But you'll have to get in quick – Santa's little helpers won't be here for long, with Happy Meal available for a limited time before they head home to the North Pole."

The Elf on the Shelf Santaverse plush toy characters include four Scout Elves, three Elf Mates and three Elf Pets, each featuring a handy loop allowing them to double not only as a bespoke festive themed Happy Meal toy, but also as a wonderful Christmas decoration and keepsake for years to come.

The Elf on the Shelf toys and books will be available with Happy Meals from November 20 until December 25 or until stocks last and are available across Macca's restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca's App and McDelivery.
