At the moment, if you can go to the supermarket and manage to find everything on your list, that's a win.

Hopefully you're able to stock your pantry with pasta and rice, and everything you need to cook while you're social distancing at home.

But what about baking? Say you really want to whip up a delicious chocolate cake to keep you company...but you don't have any eggs.

Well, Jamie Oliver has the perfect solution! He's shared a recipe for a super easy chocolate cake that doesn't need any eggs, and just uses six simple ingredients.

The easy chocolate cake recipe relies on pantry staples. Jamie Oliver

"There's no need for eggs in this incredible chocolate cake," the recipe reads. "Crisp on the outside and oozy on the inside, it's so easy and so delicious. It'll make you happy for sure!"

And now that we're all stuck at home, this is the perfect time to hone your baking skills. Whether you eat the goodies all on your own, or leave them on a neighbour's doorstep with a kind note, baking is a great way to pass time and channel your creativity.

The recipe calls for butter, flour, sugar, and chocolate (obviously), and only takes about 30 minutes to make.

It's one of those cakes with a perfect gooey texture, that wobbles a little as you put it on the plate. If you've got ice cream or berries, they'll pair perfectly with the cake. And, as Nigella Lawson says, now's the time to be eating chocolate.

The British chef has plenty of recipes for when you're stuck inside. Jamie Oliver

For anyone with allergies who can't eat butter or flour, then Jaime has your back. He shared another recipe for a gluten- and dairy-free cake. It does have more ingredients than the eggless one, but mums swear by it for kids with allergies.
