Simple way to make your own bread at home: So you can avoid going to the shops

Nobody would blame you for wanting to avoid the shops at the moment, especially if it's just to pick up a single loaf of bread. Thankfully, it is super simple to make your own.

There are so many recipes using very few ingredients. You can whip up some lovely, hot, flatbread, or even rolls for lunch or dinner.

Making bread is something 9Honey's Jane de Graaff loves to do with her family.

"Making bread is a great home project if you're stuck inside. I love to get my kids involved," she says.

"You can go for the full, yeast bread option if you like, but my favourite thing is two-ingredient flatbread."

Jane's Two-Ingredient Flatbread

INGREDIENTS

1 cup natural Greek yogurt

1 cup self-raising flour

METHOD

Combine yogurt and self-raising flour and knead it until combined, but not too much as you don't need to work the gluten for this one.

Let it rest for a few minutes.

Roll out disks and then fry them in a hot pan.

Serve with your favourite meal or use it for sandwiches
