Perth mum shares simple hack to keep bread fresher for longer
A Perth mum has shared a clever trick to keep bread fresher for longer.
Carolina McCauley, who shares home hacks on Instagram at @carolina.mccauley, begins her video explainer with a packet of Coles Soft White Toast Loaf and a long airtight container.
Shen places the bread, still in its packet, into the airtight container with the top of the bag open.

Once the full loaf is in the container, she takes the bread bag opening and pulls it down the sides of the container. She then wedges the lid on tightly.
McCauley has posted the video along with the caption: "Kitchen Hack for Fresh Bread. Use an airtight container with the whole bag inside. Keep it sealed and your fresh bread will last longer."
It's certainly a clever trick!
