So when we had the opportunity to speak to celebrity chef Khahn Ong, we obviously had to ask him what his favourite mid-week whip-up is.
Now, you might be expecting something typical here. When most people think of an easy but tasty mid-week meals, our minds jump to something like spaghetti bolognese or a baked jacket potato.
But not this time. Ong truly has outdone himself, coming up with a recommendation that probably far exceeds your families expectations of what they're going to see on the dinner table come Tuesday night.
Ong says there's a dish most Aussies seem to think is way too complicated, but it's actually quite simple.
"Fish tacos!" he exclaims.
"You don't have to prepare the fish yourself, because sometimes that can be time-consuming. Honestly, grab the Birds Eye Deli Hoki fillets, and you can have it on the table in 20 minutes."
He adds that the best additions to jazz up the meal are a pineapple and charred corn salsa, cabbage slaw, and some sauce.

So, basically, all you have to do is pop your fish in the airfryer, use some premade cabbage slaw, throw together a quick salsa and pop it all in a tortilla to be topped off with a bit of whatever sauce your heart desires.
And, if you're not a fan of fish, why not try the same recipe but with some frozen chicken strips? It'll probably come out just as delicious.
"If anything ever seems too time-consuming, see if there's any shortcuts you can take so you still get to eat something delicious without waiting," he adds.
And it seems Ong has a shortcut or a hack for everything, giving us a hot tip to spice up another easy mid-week meal.
Now, the ultimate lazy persons dinner is the humble can of baked beans, we've all been guilty of chucking a can on some buttered toast and calling it a day.
But now, thanks to Ong and his genius mind, we have a way to spice up a can of baked beans and turn it into a proper meal with just two ingredients.

All you're going to need is a bit of chorizo and some rice.
"Grab yourself some chorizo, dice it up and cook for five minutes in a pan," Ong explains.
"Pop your baked beans in with the chorizo to heat it up, then serve over steamed rice with some parsley! And if you want to up the veg content, peas work too!"
If you really can't be bothered even cooking rice, you can simplify it even further with a microwaveable rice packet.
