Popular home brand cookie will be officially discontinued in a matter of days
Biscuit lovers have just days left to get their hands on a popular cookies that will be officially discontinued in November.
Coles Ultimate 40% Chocolate Chip Cookies Chocolate Dipped have been given the chop, with fans of the tasty treats already reporting it missing from supermarket shelves.
"RIP To The Best Biscuits In Australia!" one Coles cookie fan lamented on Reddit's 'Australia' thread.

"Noticed my weekly purchase of these all time greats were empty on the shelves. Asked the worker who scanned it and said they were discontinued.
"Are they gone forever? Can someone direct me to cookies anonymous? Is there any hope for my first world problem?"
Coles' Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies are a much-loved home brand version of Arnott's wildly popular Premier range, with some biscuit lovers favouring Coles' version over their branded rival.
Coles released a gluten-free version of the popular range in 2022.

While the demise of the Chocolate Dipped version of the cookies has been confirmed, Coles has told nine.com.au there are other exciting varieties on the way.
"At Coles, we're constantly reviewing our product range to ensure we're offering the best mix of quality, value, and shopper favourites right across the store," the spokesperson said.
"As part of this process, we're excited to announce the return of an old favourite: the Ultimate 40% Chocolate & Salted Caramel Chip Cookies, hitting shelves again soon!
"We're also introducing a brand new, convenient 200g pack size of the 'OG' Coles Ultimate 40% Chocolate Chip Cookies, giving people more flexibility and choice when enjoying their favourite treats.

"We're committed to evolving our Coles Ultimate cookie range to reflect what Australians love most.
"While there are occasional changes to our offering, our focus remains on delivering the indulgences people enjoy, including options that cater to gluten-free needs."

A box of Coles Ultimate 40% Chocolate Chip Cookies in a 400g pack costs $6, as does their Triple Choc version.
The gluten free version of the range sells for $7.20-$7.70. This includes Coles Ultimate GF Dipped 40% Choc Chip Cookies which appears to have escaped the discontinuation of it's gluten-filled counterpart.
They are listed as 'Currently unavailable' on the Coles website. Nine
While lucky customers may still be able to find packs of Coles Ultimate 40% Chocolate Chip Cookies Chocolate Dipped in some stores, they have mostly sold out.
In their place will be returning favourite Ultimate 40% Chocolate & Salted Caramel Chip Cookie 400g and Coles Ultimate 40% Chocolate Chip Cookies in a new size of 200g.
They are also available as a baking mix, which retails for $5.
