Aldi lovers are breathing a sigh of relief after a fan favourite product has reappeared on supermarket shelves, just in time for Christmas.

Aldi's Alcafe White Hot Chocolate is back, having disappeared during the winter months when it is typically in peak demand.

And it is still selling for the same bargain price of $3.49 for a packet of 10 sachets.

Panicked fans took to Reddit to share their distress over the missing product in July.

"Is the Alcafé White Hot Chocolate forever discontinued?" one wrote on Reddit's 'Aldi Australia' thread.

"I used to LOVE the Jarrah white hot chocolate, and it was discontinued a few years ago.

"I have tried every white hot chocolate brand in between, and they all taste off, like strawberry or caramel or just way too sweet.

"Then, a few weeks ago, I finally started shopping at Aldi and picked this up – it tastes great, I forget all about Jarrah.

"Of course, I go back the next week, and the next, and it's nowhere to be found!"

One Redditor added; "I think all Alcafé sachets are gone.

"It really sucks because Aldi is no longer doing any Alcafé coffee sachets, and Coles is also discontinuing their brand coffee sachets at the same time, which means for coffee we are now forced to buy Nescafé which are $8 (if they are ever not on sale for half price)."

The product's absence was temporary, due to an unexplained 'supply disruption'. Nine

Others were missing the Alcafé mocha sachets, which also vanished without a trace.

One Aldi shopper speculated the product's disappearance was due to the drinks being part of a "limited edition range".

But an Aldi spokesperson told nine.com.au the disappearance was actually due to a "temporary supply disruption."

Thankfully it is now back, just in time for Christmas when white hot chocolate is enjoyed by many.

Many of Aldi's products are exclusive to the discount grocery retailer and many are part of their Limited Edition range, meaning loyal shoppers should stock up their favourites before they disappear once again.
