Not only does swapping from fresh to frozen fruit and vegetables help Aussie shoppers save, there are also potential health benefits.

Aldi's Orchard & Vine was named the best frozen fruit brand and includes strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, mangoes and mixed berries.

Orchard & Vine was given five stars in all categories including overall satisfaction, taste, value for money, variety and range, and packaging.

They cost $5.99 for a 500g pack and $8.00 for a 1kg pack.

In second place is Macro frozen fruit, followed by Creative Gourmet in third, Coles brand in fourth, and Woolworths brand in fifth place.

Canstar Blue surveyed 694 Australians for their feedback on the frozen fruit brands they've purchased and consumed in the last six months.

Frozen fruit can be more affordable than fresh when favourite fruits are out of season, and they have potential health benefits because they are frozen when they are at their peak.
