Australia’s best supermarket dip of 2026 has been crowned, with Victorian brand Nuffin taking out the top spot.
The product earned five stars across categories including overall satisfaction, taste, texture, and packaging, and four stars for value for money, and variety and range.

Nuffin dips launched in 2022 and are notable for using combustible paper-based packaging instead of traditional plastic tubs. The range includes all the most popular dip flavours including hummus, chive and onion, capsicum and onion, and fetta and cracked pepper.
The award-winning dips are on sale this week at Woolworths for $4 each for a 200g tub, and are selling at Coles for $5.
Canstar Blue surveyed 1,713 Australians for their feedback on the dip brands they have purchased from a supermarket and consumed in the last three months.

Yumi’s normally costs $5 for a 200g tub but are currently on sale at Woolworths for $3.75 each. The range includes avocado dip, sweet potato, kalamata olive and eggplant.
In third place is Black Swan, which earned four stars in all categories except for value for money and packaging, in which it was awarded three.
Black Swan sells most classic dip flavours with the addition of French onion, buffalo ranch and crispy bacon.

The brand’s dips retail for $5 per 200g tub, or this week at Coles you can get them for two for $7, which works out to be $3.50 each.

In fifth place, Chris’ dip brand, followed by Zoosh in sixth spot, Obela in seventh place, Coles brand in eighth spot, then Red Rock Deli dips at ninth and Ritz dips in 10th place.

Canstar Blue’s survey found the majority of those surveyed (59 per cent) are happy to try dips from multiple different brands, while 49 per cent will purchase dip when it is on special, and just 21 per cent always purchase the same brand each time.
Sixteen per cent go for the cheapest dip available, and just seven per cent purchased the largest container of dip available.
Over two-thirds (67 per cent) of respondents like to eat their dip with crackers, followed by chips (15 per cent), then vegetables (nine per cent), followed by those who eat it with bread (eight per cent).
For those looking for the perfect crackers for their dip, Canstar Blue awarded Aldi’s Damora brand as the best-rated crackers of 2026 in a survey of 1,865 Australians, who were asked about the cracker brands they’ve purchased and consumed over a three-month period.
