The Adelaide bakery, with locations in Belair and North Plympton, has reclaimed the top prize for their sausage roll at the South Australian Baking Show having missed out the previous year.
Banana Boogie Bakery co-owner Jason Spencer explained they made "a few minor tweaks" in their effort to snatch back the top honour.

"After missing out last year, the team went back to the recipe book, made a few minor tweaks… and this weekend we officially took back the title of Best Sausage Roll in Australia at the South Australian Baking Show," co-owner Jason Spencer shared on Instagram.
He added that the feat has been an "incredible result for the whole crew".
Banana Boogie Bakery's sausage roll has picked up several awards over the years, the recipe of which was the result of a "mistake" by one of their bakers, he previously told nine.com.au.
"We got a recipe from one of our suppliers and that wasn't really the best and we made a mistake by using the wrong spice once and it actually came out phenomenal and we've done with that recipe ever since," he explained.

He won't reveal the spice that made all the difference, saying it is now a company "secret".
Spencer explained a good sausage roll starts with a "really good gravy".
"The meat's got to be a good consistency, not too dry, not a lot of breadcrumb in there either, which you have to use to stop the sausage roll from shrinking.
"We have a good relationship with our butcher, so he's got it down to an actual perfection. It's just that nice, moist sausage roll."
Spencer also swears off adding tomato sauce to his sausage rolls, say a good sausage roll with a lot of flavour "doesn't need it".
A sausage roll at Banana Boogie Bakery costs $5.50.
