Australia's best single-serve ice cream has been crowned
Aldi's Monarc Crown – the discount grocery retailer's Peter's Drumsticks dupe – has been crowned the best single-serve ice cream in 2026.
These delicious treats have been voted the best multi-pack ice creams in the 2026 Canstar Most Satisfied Customers Awards.
Monarc Crowns have been awarded five stars in a clean sweep of all categories including overall satisfaction, value for money, flavour, texture, packaging, and variety and range.

In second place, another Aldi winner: Monarc Utopia, their Streets Magnum dupe. These were awarded five stars for overall satisfaction, value for money, and packaging.
Canstar Blue surveyed 1,223 Australians for their feedback on the ice-cream multipack brands they have purchased from a supermarket and consumed in the last six months.
The consumer group rated all of Australia's best single-serve ice creams sold in supermarkets.
Cadbury single-serve ice creams came in third place, with five stars for overall satisfaction and four stars for all other categories.

These chocolate-coated stick ice creams come in Dairy Milk flavour, Caramello, Caramilk, Crunchie, Picnic, and Roast Almond.
In the fourth spot was Connoisseur Gourmet Ice Cream sticks, which earned five stars for flavour and texture.
These come in Cookies & Cream flavour, Pistachio Gelato, Salted Caramel & Macadamia, Vanilla, Blood Orange, Vanilla Caramel Brownie, and multiple other delicious flavours.
Peters landed in fifth place, followed by Oreo ice creams in sixth place.
Childhood favourite Paddle Pops didn't fare as well, in seventh place, followed by Peters Drumstick in eights spot, and Maxibon in ninth place.

Coles and Woolworths home brand single-serve ice creams also struggled to make the top ten, placing in 10th and 11th place.
Streets Cornetto earned enough votes for 12th spot, followed by Streets Magnum in 13th place, Bulla in 14th place, Golden Gaytime at 15th, and Weis in 16th place.
Canstar also rated Australia's best supermarket tub ice cream, with Cadbury taking out the top spot, followed by Bulla in second place, and then Connoisseur in third position.
