Australia's best supermarket ice cream for 2026 has been crowned
Cadbury's ice cream tubs have been crowned the winner of the Canstar 2026 Most Satisfied Customers Awards.
This is the first win for the range, beating out some of the country's biggest ice cream brands to take out the top spot.
The Cadbury tubs are sold in independent supermarkets and include vanilla choc chip, caramello and hazelnut.

Cadbury scored five stars in four categories, including for overall satisfaction, flavour, value for money and variety and range, as well as four stars for texture and packaging.
Canstar surveyed more than 1,533 shoppers who had recently purchased ice cream, asking them to rate their favourite tub.
In second place is Bulla, which earned five stars for overall customer satisfaction and four stars across all remaining categories.
The brand sells multiple ranges, including the original Bulla ice cream tubs, Bulla Creamy Classics and Bulla Murray Street Ice Creamery brand.

In second place is Bulla which earned five stars for overall customer satisfaction. Nine
In third place is Connoisseur Gourmet Ice Cream, which scored five stars for texture, four for overall satisfaction, flavour, variety and range and for packaging, but just three stars for value for money as it is on the more expensive side.
Streets Blue Ribbon ice cream tubs came in fourth, followed by Häagen-Dazs in fifth place, Ben & Jerry's in sixth place, and Peter's in seventh spot.
Coles home brand ice cream tubs landed in eighth spot, followed by Aldi in ninth place, and Woolworths home brand in tenth place.
Canstar also rated ice cream multipacks, with Aldi's Monarc Crowns taking out the top spot.
Canstar's survey also revealed Australians are happy to pay a little more for their favourite ice cream.
The data showeds shoppers are picky with their choices, with only 13 per cent of Australians buying the cheapest ice cream available.

Although they do love a bargain, with more than half (58 per cent) of those surveyed saying they buy their favourite ice cream whenever it is on special.
48 per cent of Aussies eat their ice cream as an after-dinner treat rather than during the day, 21 per cent eat it straight from the tub, and 21 per cent spruce it up with sprinkles, syrups, and other toppings.
Vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavour, scoring 27 per cent of the vote. Chocolate comes in second at 15 per cent, Cookies & Cream is third with 10 per cent of the vote, in fourth place is Caramel and Salted Caramel flavours – also with 10 per cent of the vote – and Mint Chocolate Chip is in fifth place, with seven per cent of the vote.
