Aussies have spoken: This is the best frozen supermarket pizza

Australia's go-to frozen dinner has a new reigning champion, with Aldi's International Cuisine frozen pizza brand being named the country's favourite.
The budget brand took out the top spot after being awarded five stars in every category by shoppers surveyed by consumer group Canstar.
Their International Cuisine brand includes their much-loved Numero Uno pizza, which sells for $6.99.

This brand first gained notoriety when it replaced Aldi's distinctive The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! product, which came in a distinctive black-and-white box.
Customers took to Reddit searching for The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! product after it disappeared from supermarket shelves in early 2026.
A spokesperson told nine.com.au at the time the pizza had been replaced with Numero Una Pizza.
It was clearly the right right choice, judging from this new Canstar accolade and positive customer reviews.

Dr Oetker Ristorante Pizza was chosen as Australia's second favourite frozen pizza brand.
McCain Rustica Pizza landed in third place and McCain's Classic pizza range took out fourth spot.
In fifth place is Dr Oetker Giuseppe Pizzeria, Woolworths' home brand landed in sixth position, and Coles' home brand pizza made it into seventh place.
Canstar Blue surveyed 666 Australians for their feedback on the frozen pizza brands they've purchased and consumed in the last six months, rating them for overall satisfaction, value for money, taste, variety and range, and packaging.
The frozen pizza market in Australia is valued at over $185m annually, with market growth of 7.30 per cent projected between 2023 and 2028.
Over 55 per cent of Australians eat pizza at home, with 52 per cent citing its "constant availability" as a reason for purchase.
Forty three per cent of Aussie shoppers prefer frozen supermarket pizza, saying it offers the best value for money.

Frozen pizza has come far since it was first released, with quality and variety drastically improving.
Frozen pizzas come in traditional pizzas, pizza 'subs', and pizza 'pockets'.
