Aldi quietly changed one of its most popular products – and most shoppers missed it
Aldi Australia has confirmed a major change to one of its most iconic products.
Aldi's popular The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! frozen pizza, which has long been sold in a distinctive black-and-white box, is no more.
Customers have been sharing their searches for the Aldi staple, which has slowly been disappearing from the frozen foods section at multiple locations.

As The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! was slowly phased out, a replacement product was quietly placed next to it.
"Are these gone? Haven't seen them in a few months across multiple stores," one Aldi shopper asked on Reddit's 'Aldi Australia' thread.
"I sure hope not. I'll have to check next time," another said.
"Noooooooooooo! I hope not. I have one tucked in my freezer for now. Phew, showing in stock near me on the app. Plympton SA," added another.

We're sad to report we have received confirmation from Aldi Australia that The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! is no more.
A spokesperson told nine.com.au: "At Aldi, we're all about giving our customers great quality and value, every time they shop.
"We're excited to welcome the new Italpizza la Numero Uno Margherita Pizza, which will replace 'The Best Margherita Pizza Ever'.
"It's bigger too, going from 365g to 410g, and at just $6.99, it's a tasty way to satisfy your pizza cravings.
"This new delicious pizza is ready to be found in the freezer aisle at your local Aldi."

The Aldi spokesperson didn't explain the reasoning behind the swap, however some Aldi customers commented they felt The Best Magherita Pizza Ever! had declined in quality.
"Can agree the quality got very hit and miss. We were buying the 'Best Ever' frequently but had several purchases where they seemed to have dehydrated to the point where the bases were biscuity and the cheese wouldn't melt," one said.
"They weren't the best anyway," another said.
Many have since tried the new Italpizza la Numero Uno Margherita Pizza which they say lives up to the hype.

"Mate. I hadn't seen this one before and it was there next to the black box margherita pizza, Preheated the oven with me pizza stone at max heat, got this bad boy done in there and holy sh*t. Blew my mullet clean off.
"Absolutely the best frozen pizza I've had," another said.
"Went out and got one for dinner because of this post, was even better than I expected. Legit doesn't taste like a frozen pizza, I'd be happy eating this in a restaurant. I thought it looked a little small out of the box but I split it with my boyfriend and I'm so full," added another.
