The Odyssey is finally in cinemas, and its star-studded cast has been hitting the red carpet in astounding outfits to mark the occasion.
With the likes of Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, and Anne Hathaway among the main cast, there’s been no shortage of amazing fashion to enjoy on the blockbuster’s press tour.

Beijing Premiere, July 30
As if one glittering gown wasn’t enough, Charlize Theron stepped out at the premiere in Beijing, China in two looks fit for a goddess.
The actress, 50, who portrays Calypso in the epic retelling, first made a statement of the plunging obsidian variety, then followed it up with a cascading golden ensemble.

The contrasting looks were as different as night and day, with the first trimmed in luminescent silver appliqué with bold, structural detailing on the skirt.
The gown was drawn from Givenchy’s fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection, designed by Sarah Burton.
The second, however, was reminiscent of the sun – with a draped silhouette alluding to shimmering chain mail.

New York premiere, July 14
Just when we thought she couldn’t outdo herself, Zendaya went ahead and did it at the New York premiere.

Continuing the mythological-themed method-dressing approach the cast has followed throughout the press run, Zendaya wore a white gown with full-length wings protruding from the back.
It seems the gown’s path to the red carpet was an odyssey in itself, with the star revealing her stylist Law Roach had “put it on hold” two years ago.
Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway wore a cream empire-style gown with a glittering silver bodice.

Paris premiere, July 7
Zendaya showed up and out at the movie’s Paris premiere, wearing a golden headpiece resembling the Eiffel Tower behind her.
In contrast, her white dress by Alexander McQueen for Givenchy’s 1997 Spring/Summer 1997 Haute Couture collection was simple yet bold.
Designed by Philip Treacy, the lacy headpiece only showcased her eyes and lips, which she painted a dark burgundy to add to the drama.

The dress was part of the late designer’s debut for Givenchy and was aptly inspired by Greek mythology.
Despite featuring exaggerated shoulder pads and massive hanging sleeves, the rest of the knee-high dress was rather ordinary.
She rid herself of her embellishments as she took photos with the rest of the cast.

Despite only having a smaller role in the film, Zendaya stole the show at the movie’s premiere in London.
The actress, who plays the role of the Greek goddess Athena, looked every bit the part as she wore the closing look from Schiaparelli’s autumn 2026 couture show, which was displayed on the runway mere hours before in Paris.
The white breastplate included incredible detail, with the ribs, abs, belly button and breasts of the female form being highlighted in the look.
The 29-year-old’s beaded fringe skirt went from a pearly white to silver at the bottom, and she wore a multi-strand diamond Chopard necklace over the top of her breastplate.
A pair of nude shoes finished the jaw-dropping look.
The look may have been too overwhelming to wear the entire time, since the actress changed into another dress once inside.

Zendaya kept to the Grecian theme with a Valentino dress from Autumn 2026, featuring a sage green bra top that resembled laurel leaves, and a grey draped skirt that resembled a tunic.
This time she chose a necklace from the Haute Joaillerie Collection, and had nearly 27 carats of diamonds hanging from her ears.

Zendaya attended the premiere with her co-star and husband Tom Holland, who plays Telemachus, Odysseus’s son and the prince of Ithaca – though the newlyweds didn’t seem to take any pictures together.
Fresh from the glow of their recent nuptials, Holland sported a bespoke suit from Gieves & Hawkes – but there was more to the look than the eye could see.

Not only did the look feature brown, burgundy, and gold accents, much like his character’s body armour in the film, but the lines going down the suit create a Morse-code pattern reading “The Odyssey.”
Also making a statement was Lupita Nyong’o, who plays Helen of Troy, the woman who launched a thousand ships.

Fittingly for her role, the 43-year-old showed off her natural beauty in a simple yet daring see-through silver mesh gown by Christian Cowan, from his Autumn 2026 collection.
The dress is in a simple rectangular shape, even somewhat emulating the Grecian silhouettes of that time, but it was the fact that the dress had gaping holes at the sides, allowing a view of the actress’ figure.
Charlize Theron wasn’t left out with her unique Givenchy outfit.

Her black velvet gown with a high neck, gathered waist, and thigh-high split fit in with her sleek, signature image.
But it was interrupted with the addition of oversized puffy white gloves, which were tied together with bows at the elbow.
Anne Hathaway radiated absolute joy as she waved and smiled at her fans, wearing a soft blue Dior gown.
Blue floral details bloomed from the empire waistline of her dress as the actress cradled her baby bump, having recently announced her third pregnancy.
The soft fabric of the skirt pleated downwards, forming an elegant line enveloping the actress. She added pops of red with her toenail polish and lipstick.

Damon posed alongside his wife, Luciana, 49, who wore a black Gabriela Hearst dress from her Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
The black column gown was made of black suede and merino wool, and featured a natural braided leather rope detailing, which alluded to the film’s ancient setting.

But it was when he took the sunglasses off, swept the hair off his forehead and delivered a smoulder for the cameras, we were transported right back to 2008 when Twilight was at its peak.
Mia Goth also wore Dior, opting for a look from Dior Resort 2027.

The dress was covered in balls of white fabric and swept up around her waist, where there was a blue flower pinned for some contrast.
The actress, who plays Melantho, one of Penelope’s palace maids, finished the look off with black heels and her signature nonchalant expression.
Himesh Patel, who plays Eurylochus, Odysseus’s second-in-command and incompetent brother-in-law, wore a delightfully embroidered black suit jacket, with a matching black shirt, flared pants, and patent leather shoes.

Rapper Travis Scott also makes an appearance in the film as a bard.
Director Christopher Nolan cast him in the film as an allusion to the story being told over time through oral poetry, which he associated with the rap of today.
Scott wore a black monochromatic look, with his suit featuring subtle stripes.
Benny Safdie kept the black theme going with another embroidered blazer, this time with white flowers next to the lapels.
