Make way for Miranda: Aussie icon returns to the runway after nine-year hiatus
Miranda Kerr is one of our most famous exports in the fashion world, which makes it hard to believe she’s been off the runway for almost a decade.
The Aussie supermodel was back doing what she does best at Stella McCartney’s Paris Fashion Week show overnight, marking her first catwalk appearance in nine years. Spoiler alert: Yeah, she’s still got it.

Kerr emerged at the Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 wearing a jersey dress in a light sea foam shade, featuring oversized shoulder pads, a twist detail at the waist, hip cut-outs and a partly exposed back.
Sharing photos from the show and behind the scenes on Instagram, she wrote: “Still smiling from this morning. Thank you @stellamccartney for such a special return to the runway.”
Friends and fans alike shared their excitement in the comments. Among them was Aussie fashion icon Pip Edwards, who wrote, “Sooooooooooo excellent! Love you back on the runway.”

The Gunnedah girl’s last runway appearance came in June 2017, when she walked in a Moschino show.
Before hitting the runway, Kerr – who rose to fame after being discovered as a teen in Dolly magazine’s Model Search – emerged in a black dress with a peplum for a photo opp.
If you were in denial about the divisive 2010s staple making a comeback, this photo might help you reach the ‘acceptance’ stage.
The Stella McCartney show wasn’t the mum of four’s first outing at Paris Fashion Week.
Kerr also attended the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on Tuesday, wearing a beautiful blue dress with a bow detail at the waist and a dramatic twin-peaked neckline.

In the almost-decade since Kerr’s last fashion show appearance, she’s had a lot going on both personally and professionally.
The model and her husband, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, have welcomed three sons – Hart, born in 2018, Myles, born in 2019, and Pierre, born in 2024.
Kerr and Spiegel married weeks before she walked in the Moschino show in June 2017.
She’s also rolled out her beauty brand Kora Cosmetics globally, and collaborated with brands like Michael Hill and Royal Albert to release collections.
