Anne Hathaway stuns in sheer mesh gown for Mother Mary premiere

Anne Hathaway may be booked and busy, but that doesn't mean she is compromising on style.
The 43-year-old dressed in a dreamy sheer gown made of metallic mesh ribbons for the premiere of her new film, Mother Mary, at Metrograph in New York City on April 13.
The Devil Wears Prada star looked radiant in the silver mesh gown by Lever Couture, which flowed structurally around her figure, gathering at her thigh in an asymmetrical skirt before continuing in strips down her leg.

Almost more impressive were her accessories.
The Princess Diaries actress wore silver Christian Louboutin pumps and an Alexis Bittar clutch with the dress, but it was her 18kt white gold Bulgari jewelry set that stole the show.
Hathway's diamond and emerald earrings and rings from the brand's signature Serpenti line come to over $US 100,000 (approx. $140,193) combined, according to InStyle.
The actress' dark hair, worn out, and simple makeup provided a striking contrast against the beautiful dress.

She posed with the film's director, David Lowery, and her co-stars Michaela Coel and FKA Twigs, who each had their own eye-catching outfit.
Coel combined a statement halter neck top in a light pink silk embroidered fabric with baggy black trousers, while the singer FKA Twigs wore a high-neck corset dress with mesh frills as the skirt.
Wardrobe is very important to the film, as the A24 film follows the psychosexual affair between pop singer Mary, played by Hathaway, and fashion designer Sam, played by Coel, as the need for a new dress for the former's tour brings them together.

The actress has been pulling out all the stops with her fashion lately, having gone on the press tour for her new film, The Devil Wears Prada 2.
On the tour, she and co-star Meryl Streep dressed in coordinated outfits that referenced the original film and all that made it iconic.

In one of their last appearances, in Seoul, South Korea, Hathaway made a statement in a red Balenciaga dress featuring a batwing bomber on top and a form-fitting skirt with a slit, referencing the Devil in the title.
Meanwhile, Streep looked ready to revive her role as Miranda Priestly in a chic black custom Celine suit and matching sunglasses with asymmetrical details.
The pair often inverted the colours of their looks and played with different textures during the press tour.
