The one thing Robert Pattinson didn't understand about babies - until he had one
Robert Pattinson has opened up about one of his favourite parts of fatherhood.
The Twilight star shared a rare glimpse into his life as a dad in a new interview with Vogue, explaining the one thing he never really understood until he and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse welcomed their first child together.
And it's all about that newborn smell.

"I thought they were just smelling the baby powder," he confessed. "But then I had a baby, and I was like: 'My baby smells incredible."
"There's something there, I can identify her. She doesn't smell like other babies."
The news of Pattinson's daughter came in March of 2024 after the 32-year-old singer shared the announcement on her Instagram. It was the first-ever photo of their child.
Waterhouse was holding the wrapped-up baby, whose name was kept private.
The caption read: "Welcome to the world angel ❤️."
The Daisy Jones & The Six actor was on stage four months later at Coachella when she told audiences about their new addition.

"I don't know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently," she announced.
"I love amazing ladies, and I've been lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life."
In an interview with Today, the musician also revealed what she and Pattinson, 38, love to do with their newborn.
"We have a routine of putting her in the swimming pool and jumping in and out of the pool," she said.

"That's just always the most fun. End of the day, 5 pm, we all get in the pool and be silly."
Waterhouse and Pattinson have been engaged since 2023, with the musician revealing to The Times that she is "shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years."
"I'm always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text," she said. "And I think he feels the same about me."
