One post from Justin and Hailey Bieber could have just started a very big trend
Justin and Hailey Bieber have welcomed a gorgeous baby boy, announcing his name is Jack Blues Bieber in a cute post on Instagram.
That one post may have just kick-started a trend – and it's a far cry from what we've become used to seeing from celebrity parents.
The couple, who are both in their 20s, went with a classic name for their little one.
Nothing inspired by music, nothing inspired by nature or even the name of an object, which has become the norm for celebrities in recent years.

Instead, they went with Jack.
The name Jack is a boy's name of English origin meaning "God is gracious", according to Nameberry.
The moniker came in at number 14 in popularity for boys names in the US, at 10 in Australia and 4 in New Zealand in 2023, making it a much loved and timeless name.
The name has significance to Justin's family too, adding a beautiful nod to a family tradition for the Biebers.

Just like Justin, and his dad Jeremy, baby Jack continues the streak of 'JB' initials.
But they're not the only ones.
Justin's half-sister Jazmyn Bieber and half-brother Jaxon Bieber share the same initials.
Jack is also Jeremy's middle name, which adds a really special sentimental touch to the name.
Sure, the middle name Blues adds a touch of that little spice we've become used to seeing from celebrity baby names, but it doesn't take away from the fact the couple went for something timeless first.
When it comes to trends, Hailey is one of the 'It girls' who, right now, is in front of the curve.

Whether it be the Rhode lipgloss holder phone cases, to the style of her nails and even the boujee Erewhon smoothie people were literally travelling for, she knows how to start a trend.
So now the big question is, will little Jack inspire mums and dads to be to go down the route of classic, traditional names?
She and Justin aren't the only celebrity parents who have gone with a classic for their bub.
Earlier this year Sofia Richie - another 'It Girl' - and husband Elliot Grainge welcomed a baby girl, naming her Eloise Samantha Grainge.

Another classic moniker for the middle name and just like the Biebers went with a middle name which honours family.
Samantha honours Grainge's mum, Samantha Berg, who suffered complications during childbirth which led to a coma that she was in until she died in 2007.
Richie, whose middle name is Alexandra, appears to honour her own mum Diane Alexander.
So, with family traditions and traditional names back on the radar thanks to a couple of high profile celebrities, a new trend might be emerging for parents in 2024 and 2025.
