'I'm gonna get hell for saying this': Trump's comment about Melania that nobody saw coming
Donald Trump has risked the irritation of wife Melania by revealing she was suffering from a common plight of fashion during his second inauguration speech.
Donald, 78, was chatting to a crowd of supporters after the formal ceremony when he made the comments.
The US president was praising his wife Melania when he said, "I shouldn't say this. I'm gonna get hell for when I say this."

"Her feet are absolutely aching, you know, those heels," he continued, prompting Melania, 54, to start laughing along with Vice President JD Vance.
Melania gently shook her head as her husband continued to explain, "And we thought we were leaving, we were going home ... 'Sir, would you be able to go down and say hello to some of your other fans that are here?'"

Melania was comfortably seated during his second impromptu speech, next to Vice President JD Vance's wife Usha.

She completed the look with a wide brimmed hat and the sky-high heels thatleft her feet "aching".
Donald quickly changed the topic, using the remainder of his speech to thank his supporters ahead of attending an inauguration reception.
This is his second term as US president, having previously served from 2017 until 2021.
Melania has spoken about her second term as First Lady, telling Fox & Friends she is hoping for more support for her work this time around, including her 'Be Best' initiative which focused on children's mental health and social media use.

"I didn't have much support from anyone. I invited all of the streaming platforms to the White House. I had the roundtable, and I didn't have much support from them," she said.
"And imagine what we could do in those years if they will rally behind me and teach the children and protect them about social media and their mental health."
This time, Melania said she plans to build a solid team and will be largely based in Washington DC in the White House.
During Donald's first term as president, she spent majority of her time in New York with son Barron who was attending school.
Son Barron, 18, currently attends New York University's Stern School of Business and so will remain at the family's Trump Tower home.
Following the success of her biography Melania, the US First Lady is also now filming a documentary movie with Amazon about her life, including her return to the White House.
