Woman shares how she confirmed her boyfriend was cheating

A woman's clever method for confirming her boyfriend of two years was cheating on her has gone viral after she shared it on TikTok.

American woman Kenzie Curran, who is based in California, says she suspected her boyfriend was being unfaithful, and decided to find out once and for all.

She explains in the video posted @keepingupwkenz the first step is to check your boyfriend is home.

The woman has shared how she did it in a TikTok video. TikTok

"I called him at night and made sure he was home," she explains in the video. She recommends using Facetime so you can tell your partner is actually in his own home.

She then tells him to prop his phone up against a pillow and to put his hands in his lap.

"So then I said, 'You're not going to touch your phone and you're going to give me your Snapchat password.'"

Her boyfriend claimed he couldn't remember it.

Acting like that was no big deal, she then instructed him to go and get his mother's phone and use it to video his Snapchat messages and send the video to her.

He claims to do this, but the video never arrives.

Kenzie has shared her story in three videos, with the first being viewed 3.3 million times, although many were confused about exactly how to execute her detailed plan.

"This is a lot of work when I could just go through his phone myself," says one however Kenzie explains she couldn't do that because he was based in Iowa and their relationship was long distance.

She was inundated with stories of women who have discovered their partners cheating by viewing their Snapchat messages.

Many wanted to know why she suspected him of cheating in the first place.

"Storytime what made you feel like you needed to see his Snapchat feed," one asks.

Kenzie addresses this in her third video, saying it all started with a gut feeling.

She says it was after they had returned from a recent trip together when he suddenly stopped texting her, despite plans to Facetime each other.

This happened twice before she started to feel uneasy about it.

"So this is when I checked his 'Snap location' and I see he's in some random apartment," she says.

When she confronted him over the phone he denied having ever cheated on her, saying he would "never" do that to her and that he loves her.

Fast forward to her Snapchat sting operation and all was soon revealed.

The couple has since broken up.

"I'm so glad you did this for yourself to know, and you left when you knew he cheated," writes one of her TikTok followers. "Well done of you, so sorry he cheated and thank you for helping."

"We always know," adds another.
