NRL star and daughter of boxing legend expecting first child together: 'We can't wait'
One Aussie sport star has a very special family addition on the way next year.
NRL star Bradman Best, 23, and his girlfriend Kayla Fenech, 29, who is the daughter of boxing legend Jeff Fenech, are expecting their first child together!
The couple shared the exciting announcement in a heartwarming joint Instagram post.

"Baby Best due January 2026!" the shared their baby news.
They posted a photo of them hugging from behind, showing Kayla holding a sonogram image and pair of teeny tiny baby shoes in either hand.
"We can't wait🤍" the couple said.

The post was inundated with messages of congratulations from friends and family.
Kayla's mum, who is married to Jeff, left a heartwarming comment on the post.
"Omg I'm so proud of u both, can't wait to meet my gorgeous little bubba," she said.
"Super excited to be on this next chapter/ journey with u both. Luv u both."

She gushed she was "in luv already" with her grandbaby on the way.
Best's mum Tobi said she was "so happy and excited for this next chapter for you both!"
"This new grandbuba is already so loved."

He met his girlfriend through social media.

Kayla is no stranger to the spotlight of the professional sport world, growing up with Aussie boxing legend Jeff Fenech as her dad.
Jeff started out competing in the sport in the '80s. He retired in 2008.
Across his career he won titles in three weight divisions.
In March, Jeff and his wife Suzzee joined their daughter to support Best at one of his games at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
Kayla shared a group photo taken with her parents and her boyfriend to Instagram.
