'Professional idiot' messes with deaf granny for sweet internet fame

There's something really precious about the relationship between grandparents and their grandkids.

Unless you're trying to become famous on the internet, that is.

Ross Smith — who describes himself as a "professional idiot" — has been hassling his grandmother with an air horn and posting the hilarious results on Facebook.  

According to Smith, his grandmother recently lost her hearing aids, and is now quite deaf.

It is entirely possible that Smith's grandmother is in on the joke, but that hasn't stopped the video from going viral.

Since being uploaded earlier this week, the clip has been viewed more than 500,000 times.
