Ungrateful cat is freed from pipe after becoming thoroughly stuck
Stephanie Coombes
Firefighters in China have rescued a cat that managed to get itself stuck in a metal pipe.
According to local media reports, the cat's owner called authorities after discovering her pet's predicament, with firefighters soon arrived on the scene.
After a bit of deliberation, it was determined the best way to free the cat was by cutting the pipe in half and gently squeezing the moggy's ears through the hole.

It was a delicate operation, but the cat was eventually freed.
But, as soon as his paws hit the ground, the cat sprinted from the scene, without any show of gratitude.
Well, that's cats for you.
This rescue operation was uploaded to Chinese website Miaopai by CCTV news, where it quickly accumulated more than 10 million views.
