Tiny rescue dog undergoes amazing transformation
Stephanie Coombes
A mistreated dog called Trinket has undergone an incredible transformation after being rescued from a small wire cage left in the elements.
Without any protection from rain, Trinket's fur became matted and clumped making it hard for the dog to see or move.
It's not known how long Trinket was kept in these terrible conditions, but it appears her owners occasionally returned to leave the dog food and water.

After being rescued by the Michigan Human Society, Trinket had almost a kilo of excess fur shaved from her body.
What emerged from that grubby cocoon was a very happy and very cute little dog.
Trinket's incredible transformation was chronicled by the Michigan Humane Society, and posted to their YouTube channel.
