The brand new season of The White Lotus is full of mystery, drama and secrets – but arguably the biggest shock for viewers came right at the start of the first episode.

The Season 3 plot twist was unexpected and inconceivable, but it had nothing to do with the storyline; instead the surprise came from the brand new theme song that echoed through living rooms across the globe.

In place of the warbling vocals we all came to love, audiences were met with a new rhythm with a euphoric beat drop that divided many.
