Stan reveals first look at gritty Aussie drama The Commons
Stan has released the first images from its upcoming original Aussie series The Commons, which stars Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star Damon Herriman.
The sneak peek coincides with the announcement of the full cast. Sea Patrol actor David Lyons, Bloom's Ryan Corr and Rupert Penry-Jones from Whitechapel round out the cast, along with screen legend John Waters.

The Commons is an eight-part drama created by Shelley Birse who is best known for creating the acclaimed thriller The Code.
Set in the near future, the series looks at the intersection of climate change and biotechnology, and covers themes of motherhood and relationships.
Described as Stan's "biggest project to date", The Commons is a character-driven thriller with a gritty, intense feel.

The Commons follows the success of Stan's Aussie drama Bloom, which won two TV Week Logie Awards, including Most Outstanding mini-series.
It will premiere this summer.
